Is this the first time you have preached through a book? What has been the three most challenging issues doing it? My pastor (Gary Williams) is preaching through Nehemiah. I pray the congregation is enjoying it as much as I am. Thank you for signing your book for me through my cousin. You are very rich in wisdom and sermon delivery.

To be a good preacher one must be a good animal and every animal is unique as in his or her personality. The congregation or audience to whom he speaks is unique. If the preacher is under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, he or she should be able to use a prepared sermon by either himself or another Holy Spirit filled preacher, and the Word of God shall not return void. Since the author of this article ended up preaching basically the same sermon as a previous preacher and there had been no collaboration, that leaves me with the conclusion that that particular WORD needed to be heard again by that same congregation and the Holy Spirit caused this to happen. I don't call it stealing when one uses someone else's sermon or a prepared sermon, and this practice did not just being with the internet age. Pastors have been preaching other pastor's sermons forever, and some denominations and some church groups issue published sermons to be preached throughout their group so that everyone is getting the same WORD or message at the same time irregardless of their location. What is more offensive to me is preacher style or personality plagiarism,. i.e., whooping and hollering the same way as another preacher, following after how everyone else is communicating, and using the same catch phrases and cliches. A preacher can be to thine own self and unique personality be true and use a prepared by someone else's or their own prepared message done at a different church or time period ago and be authentic and true. God calls different types of people to preach so that all may hear the Word and believe because people more often than not will "hear" someone with whom they have a connection to or preference of the personality and life's experience of the preacher, they have something in common. So let's stop personality plagiarism from the pulpit and not worry so much about textual or sermon plagiarism, it's been around forever and not stealing, it's called replicate and duplicate, consider it a compliment if done to one of your sermons, and efficiency if you use one already prepared.

Bro. Charles, this is s rapid and widespread phenomenon. The popularization of the pulpit or 'rock star' option that is available to the clergy has really pushed the church in a direction that has more negative than positive. This very issue has caused me to rethink my initial plans for continued schooling. Blessed by your ministry and thanks for your care, concern and critical eye for our church and clergy. Wow...just realized that was lot of "c's". Keep standing & Be blessed!

Nor SHOULD it be. The main focus should be reaching people for the sake of bringing them to Christ. That is never going to be a popular message, and so those looking to capitalize from it -- or looking to compromise the message in order to make more money -- are only doing more harm than anything else.

How can the church be different from the world when your churches are
selling the free word of GOD, selling the free gifts of GOD, selling the
free anointing of GOD, and even try to sell you JESUS if you let
them!
And you gospel artist are just the same, how can you be different from the
world, when you sell you free gifts like the world sells them!
Music is music, there is not such thing as gospel music, secular music,
country music, rap music, rock music, etc.etc.etc......those are just
words people invented to separate music into different categories, like
you separated the church of JESUS CHRIST, by your many different
divisions of denominations!
And the word gospel music is not written anywhere in the bible, there is just good music, & bad music!
And some of the music you call secular music is better than your so called
gospel music, because it comes from the heart of those so called secular
artist, and it's not phony, fake, and self righteous like many of
you so called gospel artist are!

PS...your grace is sufficient for me...these are the things Im asking from you..that I want you to give me..basically..any and everything I need to accomplish the mission you purposed for me on this earth...You alone know what those things are..car? money to pay for the car? education? brain chemistry? I know better than to ask for what I think I need...for those things I think I need..are usually not good for me...just give me the things both spiritually and physically which You see from your throne on high..that i need to get this job of chain breaking done...so that I may best serve your kingdom..anything else...icing on the cake...just give me back ,,PLEASE...the things I need to accomplish your work through me...I want my hope back my future my love my soul..my brain chemistry..my ME! i love you Lord...and Im so sorry...In Jesus name...give me what You know I need...give me back the desires in my heart which You desire for me..then please..according to your word...fulfill them..amen

Satan..does not GIVE anything..only takes..steals..destroys and kills...okay..God almighty is the giver of all good things...salt..will not make your tea sweet...neither will an oak tree produce sweet apples for you..so ..satan..being evil..has nothing good to give..whatever he has stolen...?? probably isnt really gone at all.for God is all powerful and can just as easily restore all good things unto you in the blink of an eye....even in death..He can bring back life..He is God..who is satan but a stupid tricky little devil liar worm poop anyway...No...let us just keep asking God, giver of all good gifts...for what we need...devil can keep his phony pirate booty...God gives...devil takes...stop asking and demanding for the evil one to give you good things...besides..most of us..GAVE it to him anyway..by choice..by our sins.....no matter what...do not expect a worm...to give you anything more than a parasite......black will never be white...GOD IS THE GIVER! Dear sovereign Lord...please give unto us all good things and grace and mercy and mostly...the ability to see through the lies and backwards deceptions of the evil liar theif worm whom you have already defeated....In Jesus name...amen.Oh...and Lord...the things which I have lost to him through my stupid blind and sometimes deliberate sins...would it be okay if I had them back? I want another chance to do better?
